Natasha Francis - Lower Primary school English coordinator

Teaching is Natasha Francis’ second career, having worked previously as a training officer and an interpreter in the UK. She has now accumulated nearly 15 years experience of teaching English as a second language to learners of all ages and more recently, specialised in early years education. Natasha holds a Master’s Degree in Early Years Education from the University of Cumbria and a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. She is currently completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in the field of Special and Inclusive Education, and is particularly interested in exceptionally able students. In addition, Natasha holds a Higher Education Diploma in Counselling Studies  from the University of Ulster, which helps her embed pastoral care into every pore of her teacher role.

Natasha is passionate about creating enthusiastic, life long learners. She loves providing very hands on, immersive and authentic learning experiences for her students, that ignite their desire for exploring further. Learning should be pursued as a passion and not seen as a chore – is her motto!

Natasha is joined in China by her husband and two children.
