Kelly Chen graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Education and a Master of Science and was a founding member of staff at Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science (formerly RDFZ King’s College School Hangzhou), where she was Head of Grade for three years, responsible for the development of students’ behaviour and study habits.

She also has extensive experience in both domestic and international humanities programmes, and has taught humanities and international courses at the secondary level for a long time, and has a thorough understanding of both junior and senior secondary articulation and international education.
