Candy Mao Xuemai holds an MBA degree from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, a graduate certificate in Management and Leadership from Harvard University, and a teaching qualification from the University of Warwick. With 16 years of experience in international curriculum and school management, she has demonstrated deep expertise as a dual examiner for both CAIE A-Level and IBDP Economics.

As a long-time member of the Dipont Education Group, Candy worked at Nanjing Foreign Language School ICC for 13 years, serving as the IBDP Coordinator, Academic Director, and undertook Principal role during pandemic. In 2018, she played a key role in founding Wuxi King’s College School and, in 2023, served as the Deputy Head of Secondary at the British International School of Timișoara in Romania. Her extensive teaching and management experience in Asia and Europe, combined with her background in both public and private schools, enables her to draw on best practices and inject new vitality into school management.

In August 2024, Candy joined Hangzhou Dipont Arts & Science School as the Head of Senior School. She is dedicated to enhancing teaching & learning quality, fostering innovation and change, and creating a vibrant and inclusive learning community that empowers students’ diverse and holistic development.
