Lin Weimin - General Principal

Lin Weimin, National Inspector, Researcher, Special-Grade Teacher, and General Principal of Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science, is also a Master’s Program Advisor at the International Education Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University. His research primarily focuses on educational leadership, subject teaching theory, and chemistry education theory. He has a substantial publication record, including  nearly a hundred academic papers and authored books such as “Schools Facing Challenges” and “The Courage of Principals.”

He has previously served as Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Education Research Office, Secretary, and Principal of Hangzhou Foreign Language School, Principal of Beijing Foreign Studies University Affiliated Foreign Language School, Principal of Beijing Foreign Studies University International School, and Assistant to the President of Beijing Foreign Studies University. He has also held concurrent positions as Vice President of the Zhejiang Provincial Association of Distinguished Teachers and Vice President of the Beijing Education Inspection Association.

Lin Weimin has received numerous awards, including National Outstanding Teacher, the Outstanding Principal Award for the 5th National Education Innovation Achievements, and the Zhejiang Provincial Talent Award. He has been honored with titles such as Special Grade Teacher in Beijing and Special Grade Teacher in Zhejiang. He has served as an expert for the evaluation of national basic education achievements and national-level primary and secondary school subject competitions. He has also been elected as a representative of the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress and a representative of the West Lake District People’s Congress in Hangzhou.
