Mr. Ericsnow Otieno holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry from Egerton University, Kenya, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. With over 15 years of experience in education, including eight years in China, he brings a wealth of international expertise and a deep commitment to learning, being a believer in lifelong learning himself.

Before joining Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science in 2020, he taught A-Level Physics at Hangzhou Foreign Languages School. His teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that encourages questioning, celebrates curiosity, and nurtures critical thinking skills.

During his time at Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science, he has served in various leadership roles, including Academic Coordinator, Head of Grade, and most recently, Head of Science in the Senior School. In these positions, he has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams.

In addition to his teaching and leadership roles, he is an examiner for A-Level Physics with both Cambridge Assessment International Education and Edexcel exam boards. He is committed to excellence in education and has passion for fostering a culture of inquiry and achievement
