Professor Fang Jianwen holds a Ph.D. from Nanjing University and completed his postdoctoral research at the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He previously served as Dean of Chuyang College at Zhejiang Normal University and Principal of Hangzhou Foreign Languages School.

He has been recognised through multiple prestigious honours, including the Ministry of Education’s “Key Teacher Support Program” for higher education institutions, Zhejiang Province’s “151 Talent Project (Second Level),” Provincial Young and Middle-aged Academic Discipline Leader, Provincial Outstanding Teacher, Provincial Model Teacher of Professional Ethics, and one of the Most Influential Principals in the Yangtze River Delta region.

He has also served as a member of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, Education Supervisor of Zhejiang Provincial Government, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Acoustics Society, and Executive Council Member of the International Education Branch of the Chinese Society of Education.

As one of the few educational leaders in China with experience spanning from higher education to basic education, from research institutes to schools, and from domestic to international settings, Professor Fang possesses a deep understanding of the essence of integrated Chinese and Western education, with profound academic depth and extensive management experience.
