Creative Christmas

Monday 25 Dec 2023

At the beginning of the festive season, KCIS organized a special event called “Creative Christmas” for our international students. This initiative aimed to provide an opportunity for students to engage in creative activities during their lunch breaks. Over the course of two and a half weeks, various creative activities were offered, which turned out to be a huge success.

The Creative Christmas event offered a wide range of activities, including painting and crafting. These activities provided students with an outlet for their creativity and allowed them to explore different artistic elements. The students eagerly participated in these activities, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.

The culmination of the Creative Christmas event was marked by a delightful treat for the students. They were treated to hot chocolate, candy canes, and popcorn, creating a cozy and festive atmosphere. To add to the excitement, the students were also given the opportunity to make marshmallow snowmen, a fun and delicious activity that perfectly complemented the winter season.

The students thoroughly enjoyed all the creative activities offered during the event. They not only had a great time but also felt a sense of accomplishment as they proudly showed off their artistic creations. The Creative Christmas event provided a platform for international students to bond over shared interests and celebrate the holiday season together.

As the event coincided with the onset of colder weather, the last activity with hot chocolate and marshmallow snowmen was a perfect way to conclude the Creative Christmas festivities. It allowed the students to enjoy warmth and sweetness while appreciating their creative achievements.

Overall, Creative Christmas was a resounding success, providing international students with an opportunity to engage in creative endeavors and celebrate the holiday season. The event fostered a sense of community and joy among the students while allowing them to showcase their artistic skills. We hope to continue organizing such events in the future to promote creativity and cultural exchange within our diverse student body.
