On the first day of December, the entire faculty and students of Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Sciences welcomed the annual House Music concert with enthusiasm, igniting the audience, both live and online, with a visual and auditory feast.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Disney’s founding. Hence, we’ve chosen it as our theme. Students and teachers from various departments selected several well-loved songs, unleashing boundless imagination and creativity to rearrange them. These renditions took the stage, allowing the audience to relive the warmth and emotions of the magical world.

The students from various age groups within the same House spent a month meticulously rehearsing various spectacular acts. Some took the microphone, others showcased their musical talents with their favorite instruments, and a few danced freely, all presenting their unique selves in front of everyone.

Students and teachers of onstage and offstage resonated together, merging perfectly, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Each student had their own stage, and every student emitted their own unique brilliance.

After the splendid performance, the competition moved into the intense and nervous phase of judging and announcing the winners. Following the careful assessment by the judging panel, Layton was awarded the championship trophy, while Kingsley and Maclear colleges secured the second and third positions respectively.

Every teacher and student’s enthusiastic participation, every round of lively applause and cheers, every passionately sung ballad, and every marvelous dance step will become cherished collective memories. Thanks to everyone who participated and supported this competition in various ways. Looking forward to another spectacular House Music event next year.
