In Grade 10, upon completion of the compulsory Chinese curriculum, Chinese pupils transfer to our International Curriculum Centre, which caters for Grades 10-12. Pupils will have a distinct provision with a focus on developing strength in English to allow access to CIE A-level courses in Grades 11 and 12.
In Grade 11, pupils are placed in English and mathematics classes appropriate to their level. Chinese is compulsory for native students. In addition, students have the opportunity to study five subjects at ‘AS level’, chosen from science, humanities and aesthetics, before progressing to the study of three to five ‘A2’ subjects, plus English at the appropriate level.
