Cindy Zou - Deputy Head of Kindergarten

Cindy Zou has a Bachelor degree in Pre-school Education and a Master degree in Education. She has been in the profession for 10 years and has been rooted in kindergartens, matching her profession with her career, her interests with her career, and her passion with her career. She has received the honour of being an outstanding teacher.

In the past 10 years, she has grown and developed with three bilingual or international kindergartens, and has had in-depth exposure to the Montessori philosophy, the IB education philosophy and the British EYFS education philosophy. She has a clear understanding of the localised curriculum and requirements and has been actively working on the balance between the local curriculum and the international curriculum.

She has been immersed in multiculturalism to ensure the ability to think critically about diverse perspectives, the ability to accept multiculturalism and the ability to tolerate diversity and change. Constantly improving professionalism, exploring and verifying from theory to practice, and implementing from practice to theory understanding can form an effective closed loop. She is good at deep thinking, with educational teaching skills professionalism role in their own teaching site, can use educational theory professionalism role in the teacher’s teaching ability to improve guidance.

She insists on learning and further education, maintaining a lifelong learning attitude and a high level of cognition; she insists on communicating gently but firmly with each child and parent, using her professional knowledge to make each individual and family different.
